...and so is New Maximiliania.
Since I last posted here, I have tried to follow the instructions I told you about in my previous post, but it does not work the same for me - each computer is set up differently, and mine does not allow the bulk renaming of files that the writer of those instructions recommends.
Therefore I'll try to do all that manually which is going to take me a while, but it is the last thing I am going to try before I can be convinced that a re-install is the only way.
Keep your fngers crossed for me, please - I do miss my Sims!
Constantly in the making :-) If you are not familiar with the computer game "The Sims 2", you will probably not really understand what this is all about.

Still no news, but...
...getting there :-)
I found a website with really good advice about how to retrieve lost neighbourhoods, and shall try their tips when I'll have more time (possibly some time next week).
What with me either spending weekends away or having my partner staying here with me, I spend less time at the computer in my spare time than I used to. Also, the fine weather means I am often still out and about after work, going for walks and/or ice creams, or running.
But the season is definitely changing, the nights are already drawing in, and in a few more weeks I will probably be back with my favourite game!
In the meantime, to satisfay my Sims2-"urge", I have been playing "The Sims Life Stories" for a change and am almost finished with Riley's story. It's a nice game with the advantage of loading and saving very quickly, but it does of course have its limits, especially when you are so used to playing the full range of TS2 with all expansion and accessory packs.
Have any of you been playing lately?
