We were here first for Abhijeet Cho, a townie who has moved to Strangetown for good, thanks to his surname being that of playable Sims Vivian and Etsu Cho.
Now we're back for Bella Goth - the REAL Bella, who was transported somehow (rumours have it that it was an Alien abduction) from her original home in Pleasantview to this place. She has no recollection of her former life there with husband Mortimer and children Cassandra and Alexander.
In this life, she dreams of becoming Hall of Famer. As she and Abhi are both Romance Sims, it wasn't hard for them to become a couple - especially not since they are 3-bolters.
The punching bag is now hers, and she quickly acquires the two body skill points needed for her next promotion.
This week with Bella and Abhi was smooth sailing - too smooth, almost. There were no real challenges, but it was still fun to play Bella here.
And I will let you in on a secret: Bella is pregnant! I have decided that the Goths are too important a family in the Sims world to let this opportunity slip to start a new generation, a Strangetown branch. Of course it will take a long time before we'll see Bella's offspring, but he or she is definitely on the way!
ooh exciting for Bella to be pregnant! I agree that there should be 'new' Goth's in Strangetown!
ReplyDeleteAbhi is doing brilliantly with his best friend count and Bella is working her way steadily up the career ladder. A very successful week. :)
Abhi was on the brink of inviting Jill Smith to become a resident of Strangetown, just a few points in their long-term relationship were missing.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, he now has 3 bolts for her and only 2 for Bella.
I also wonder whether I should have Christian Love move in (and out again); he already is a resident of Pleasantview and I am not sure I want versions of the same ex-townie in every 'hood.
or also you could (end his life) and not have so many Christian love around.
ReplyDeleteI could, couldn‘t I! Moving in and/or the death of a townie usually spawns a new townie, which could be another intersting addition to the neighbourhood.
DeleteYou could give Christian a makeover and name change - that's what I did when I had to recreate TS2 Richmond, because of course there were new versions of all the townies who had long ago become playable and it was a bit weird seeing my elder sim conversing with his teen self!
ReplyDeleteNice to see Bella getting on with her life, and I like the idea of founding a new Goth family - although it could be interesting if they ever cross paths with anyone from the Pleasentview branch of the family.
That's a good idea for my townies, but I think I'll stick to adding just one to one neighbourhood. As I take note of my move-ins, it will be easy to keep track and not end up with, for instance, Christian Love in Strangetown AND Pleasantview AND Belladonna Cove etc.
DeleteI am looking forward to establishing a new Goth branch in Strangetown, but they will never cross paths - the neighbourhoods are entirely separate now, no travel or move is possible between them.
