The Newson Sisters: Week 4

This small yellow house is our next stop, as another two members of the Newson family live here.

Gabriella Newson is a Romance Sim with the lifetime want of having 20 lovers. We left her last round half-way through reaching that goal.

Her twin sister Georgia has been on Permanent Platinum ever since she became Hand of Poseidon early on last round. Although the two ladies are twin sisters and both 10 days from Elderhood, somehow I always think of Georgia as being slightly younger.

On this rainy summer Saturday (the first day of the week with this household, due to them having been away on a trip to Takemizu last round), Gabriella gives townie Justin Woodrow a warm welcome. She always works on at least two men at the same time, one to build up a friendship and one she is already at the pink hearts stage with.

For a moment, it seems like Justin is more interested in the other sister, but Georgia makes it perfectly clear that she is nothing like Gabriella when it comes to men. And indeed, not long afterwards, Justin becomes Gabriella's love # 11.

The rain stops in the afternoon, and Georgia greets Chris Capp.

She feeds her fish very early on Sunday morning.

Gabriella's self-set task for today is make townie Alan Chin fall in love with her, and he arrives for their date just as Demi Love is walking by on a birdwatching excursion.

It ends just how Gabriella has planned, and Alan is now # 12 on her list.

But what's that? Demi seems to find Gabriella very attractive, too! All through the rest of the afternoon and evening, she keeps admiring Gabriella and seeking her company.

The evening ends on a fiery note when the fishpond is hit by lightning. Who has ever heard of a POND burning?! I would have expected the exercise bike on the back porch to be struck, but certainly not the pond! Anyway, the rain quickly puts out the flames, and there is no boiled Koi on tonight's menue.

It is already Monday morning, but Demi is still here. "I know!" she exclaims, "We will be best friends for life!"

She really seems to have it bad for her hostess. Should I do something about it? For Gabriella, it would be a quick win.

At some stage, Demi finally leaves on her own accord. Georgia is off to work, and Gabriella works, too - on the heartstrings of townie Aaron Barakat (left) who arrives with Marcus Balduin in tow.

Marcus is soon sent away, but no matter how hard Georgia tries, she does not manage to reach red-hearts stage with Aaron.

And Georgia? She returns from work extremely tired (no wonder - she had spent all night at the computer and went to work without sleeping) and has a good nap. Autumn has just begun, but the evening is still mild and so she works out on the back porch.

Gabriella is successful on Tuesday - this time, it does not take her long to make Aaron her # 13.

After she has said good-bye to him, she meets and greets townie Aren King - and finds out that he is a 3-bolt-man for her.

Cataldo Capp has also been walking by and was duly invited. Gabriella spends a very pleasant afternoon and evening with the two men, first at the dining table...

...and then in the sauna. It looks to me as if Aren would prefer to there being just the two of them, but I dare say he will get his chance before the week is over.

Cataldo Capp is still there as Tuesday quietly slips into Wednesday, and it is nice to see Georgia enjoying a conversation with someone who is not part of her family. Does she like her visitor, or is her pretty smile simple politeness?

As you know, I do not control her most of the time. Leaning back in my chair while Gabriella is asleep, I watch her do a spot of housework.

Much of Wednesday is spent the usual way: Georgia is at work and Gabriella works on her friendships via the telephone. After Georgia returns and has rested for a while, the sisters drive to Fresh Rush Grocery.

While Gabriella stocks up on groceries (always keeping one eye on the male customers)...

...Georgia has met their nephew Ned outside and plays at the swings with him. Ned is Garrett's son, Garrett being one of their older brothers.

Back home, Georgia picks up the thrown over rubbish bin without so much as a grumble. That's life when you live with a Romance Sim!

Much of Thursday is dedicated to building Gabriella's relationship with Aren King. In true three-bolt-style, these two can hardly take their eyes (or hands) off each other.

Gabriella is frank with all her male friends, and so over bowls of chili she explains to Aren that some may consider cheating what she does - in reality all she wants is to make her lifetime want true, like every Sim.

The last day of this week with the sisters is here - Friday. 

Georgia has today off. As I have not been controlling her and she has not looked after herself very well, her fun level is very low. What better way to raise it than reading the paper on the toilet! :-D

I remember Rodney Scott, one of Gabriella's lovers, as a townie eligible to become a permanent resident of New Max. (Scott being the surname of one of the playables in TS4)

Gabriella invites him over, and he moves in without hesitation.

But of course he moves out again as soon as I have taken down all his stats. Bye-bye, Rodney!

Gabriella then proceeds to invite all their siblings and their partners over. A lively meal is enjoyed by all.

And just before the week is really over, Cataldo Capp is added as # 14 on Gabriella's list of loves.

This was a fun week; not really challenging but interesting enough with juggling Gabriella's many relationships and at the same time making sure the sisters were not neglecting their family relations.

Is anyone in particular ever going to catch Georgia's eye? And how much longer will Gabriella need before her lifetime want is reached and she can settle down with one of her seven 3-bolt-men? Will there be any developments with the Demi Love situation?
