Callum and Christopher Capp: Week 2

We find our next Capp household in this small townhouse.

They are Christopher (left) and Callum (right) Capp, sons of Hermia Capp and Tank (formerly Grunt).
Both Hermia and Tank have died last round, which means their children do not absolutely HAVE to marry in order to fulfill their parents' lifetime wants.
Instead, they can fully focus on their own goals: For Christopher, it is to have 5 top level businesses (something no Sim has yet achieved in my game, I think), while his brother wants to have 20 loves.
Hardly surprising, love is the topic of conversation at the breakfast table this Monday morning.
Last round, Callum managed to have 8 loves.

Much of the brothers' time is spent at Christopher's first shop, the tiny "Capp's Cars", formerly known as "Little 'N Local". Last round, the business was at rank 5.

At the end of a very busy day, with Christopher manning the cash register and Callum restocking and selling his soul out, the shop is at rank 6.

And for his hard work, Callum rewards himself by having a date with Hailey Hart - who duly becomes his Love # 9.
Not bad for only the first day of their week!

Both brothers are ill on Tuesday morning. But that does not stop them to go ahead with their many activities.

Callum cleans the bathroom, while Christopher makes breakfast.

After an exhausting morning shift, the men rest at home for a while. Calvin Broke walks by and is not only greeted, but also influenced to do some more cleaning - the two can use any help they get!

A favourable review about "Capp's Cars" makes for even more customers, and by the end of the day, Christopher's business is at rank 7.

The shop has received a Creme de la Creme award, which is proudly displayed on the wall at the brothers' house on Wednesday.

On the same day, Callum makes Tina Cho his love # 10. Hooray, he's half way through his lifetime want!

Meanwhile, Christopher does what he can to keep fit - he needs to be, as working at the shop is rather exhausting. His efforts pay off when Capp's Cars ends up at rank 8 that night.

The brothers wait for the taxi that is to take them to the shop on Thursday morning.

After their shift, some things need doing at home, such as paying the bills.

The evening shift is off to a bad start when the sink breaks.

But Christopher and Callum work hard all evening, and the shop reaches rank 9 with a sale to Gesine Landgraab, nee Gavigan.

Friday is quickly told: It starts off with the least pleasant job imaginable for Callum - unclogging and cleaning the toilet.

A bit better is what Christopher gets to do today: the computer needs repairing.

Both brothers work hard at the shop, too, and when it is time to go back home, Callum is rewarded for his efforts when Jill Downie, the reporter who wrote so favourably about Capp's Cars, becomes his love # 11.

And Saturday? Saturday is not only successful for Callum, when he and Lisa Gieke become best friends after him kissing her hand (they need to be best friends before they can be red-heart loves). It is also successful for Christopher - his first business reaches rank 10!

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest, and if anyone deserves it, it's these two. Never mind the burnt omelettes for breakfast!

A long-term wish of Christopher's is finally fulfilled: The brothers are now proud owners of a car. It will be easier now to get to their shops. Shops, as in more than one?

Yes, indeed! After having brought his first business to top level, today Christopher purchases Café Petite, soon to be renamed to Capp's Café. I am very tempted to send them to the lot immediately, but I stick to my decision to give the brothers (and myself) a rest.

Instead, I help Callum to add the 12th name to his list of loves: Lisa Gieke.

The week ends on an optimistic note for the brothers. Money is not as tight as it used to be, and I hope that it will be easier to bring the next business to rank 10 than with the first shop, now that they have acquired skills in selling, restocking and handling the cash register.

  1. A great week for Callum & Christopher, business is a tough one with all the coming and going and leading their lives inbetween!
Well done for rank 10, looking forward to see how they progress!

    1. The shop is so tiny, everybody constantly kept getting in everybody else's way! I hope that the café can be managed easier, and that Callum will move forward with his LTW so that he can finally settle with one lady, whoever that might be :-)
