The Williamson Family: Week 7

Here is a house I really like, because it is both playable and cozy. Originally, Maxis had it assigned to Cleo Shikibu and Patricia Wan, but in New Maximiliania, it has now been the home of the Williamson family for quite some time.
William Williamson and his wife Klara, nee Vonderstein, live here, happy as ever, both on Permanent Platinum, and both 67. They met at university.
William's half-Alien daughter Wilma is still here, too, but she'll leave for college later this week. Her goal in life is to become Mad Scientist, and college will be useful.
On Monday morning of their new week, I notice the Wlliams' are still as neat and tidy as before. Although I do not control the adults (except for greeting neighbours), they manage keeping the place clean on their own accord rather well.
Oh, I forgot - Panda is still here, too, Wilma's wombrat!
Gesine Gavigan sneaks up to the house on this beautiful late summer's afternoon to steal the paper. Apparently she has not given up on her unpleasant ways since graduating from uni. (Do you remember how, when she still lived at the dorm, she always had it out for one of the other girls?)
Before and after school, Wilma always plays with Panda.
Her Dad returns from work with colleague David Ottomas in tow. They seem to have stopped at the groceries store on their way home.
It is very early on Tuesday morning when I send Klara out to hunt for bugs. Who knows, she could still become my first Sim ever to complete their collection of bugs etc.
Summer has quietly slipped into autumn, and William deals with the leaves on the patio.
Wilma loves the Halloween decoration her parents have set up in front of the house.
On Wednesday morning, William makes the bed...
...while Klara cleans the bathroom.
She even cleans Panda's cage afterwards - all without me telling her to.
Orlando Ottomas gets off the school bus with Wilma...
...and Klara is accompanied by Paola Picaso. Again, the car pool must have stopped at the groceries store so that Klara could get some fresh groceries in.
And it is good she did, as a bunch of friends arrive at the house. Both Klara and William have been wanting a party since Monday, and so I concede.
William serves savoury appetizers and cheese cake.
On his own initiative, Orlando Ottomas starts to flirt with Wilma. She does not reject the flirting, but there are no hearts flying, either. Strange how the two of them seem to be unaware (or simply don't mind) of Tank Capp and Rose Greenman watching them closely!
On Thursday morning, Wilma wakes up before 6:00, as she strangely enough has been doing nearly every day so far, and goes to play with Panda on her own accord.
She'll be off to college today, and I put the cage and its inhabitant into her inventory - she loves her pet so much, it is unlikely she would leave it behind when moving to the dorm.
One last slide down the banister, and she's off!
Now Klara and William are on their own. They have always been a very affectionate couple, and Friday is off to a nice start when William serenades Klara.
She returns the favour minutes later :-)
They even go outdoors to cuddle under the stars, all on their own initiative.
Later that day, they both go to work, just as the repairman's car turns up. Nearly all week, they were working alternate days.
In the afternoon, Klara greets Christopher Capp...
...and William returns from work, once more with David Ottomas for company.
Saturday morning sees a similar scene as the day before.
Later, Klara cleans Wilma's bathroom. It has been used by some of their party guests.
It is winter now - and Sunday, the last day of this week for the Williamsons.
A card has arrived from the dorm; Wilma is doing well. (We'll see her soon.)
Klara and William are now 74.

Will they still be around when Wilma graduates from college? I hope so - because I'd like for Wilma to inherit the house.

  1. Breakfast reading time, such a nice couple, let's hope Wilma finished her adult education and see her parents before they both pop off to the sim sky.

    1. Seems I am not the only one who likes reading Sims2-stories first thing in the morning :-)
Yes, I hope her parents will still be there for Wilma after graduation.

  2. I always liked this house and the Williamson's have made it a lovely home.
Seems like they won't need to stock the fridge for ages!
Nice to see Wilma at college, at least Gesine isn't there to pick on her, :)

    1. True, and funny that she (Gesine) was there at the house earlier to nick the paper!
A nice house and very playable, but I do wonder whether I should add a toilet downstairs.

Whether you play The Sims 2 yourself or not, it would be great hearing from you. As I will reply to comments regularly, please remember to come back if you have asked a question.
